Of course, the same will be true tomorrow and the next day and so forth and so on.But how often do we live as if that were true? So often, we get caught up in mundane, meaningless and, often, pedantic irrelevancies. Our life simply passes us by. We allow ourselves to make assumptions, go with the flow, avert our eyes and our conscience, focus on the lowest common denominator, and call it a good day when nothing happens.
So I have started this blog specifically to consider those things from which we avert our eyes and our attention. The topics will vary widely: human nature, sexuality, and relationships interspersed with the big question of Life, The Universe and Everything, economics, politics, sustainability, technology and science, with a sprinkling of spirituality thrown in for good measure.
Its all about the exploration: jump in, tell me I’m brilliant, tell me I’m a moron, or anything in between. Perhaps at the end of the day, we will all have a better understanding of the world we live in.
(Once upon a time, I started a blog named eros philia agape. It was enlightening, it was entertaining, it was exploratory. Then one day I deleted it and walked away. Now it seems to be time to return to the fold. Over the next few months I will be posting a combination of new articles and original archives. So bear with me — as I fill in the back story, everything should make a bit more sense. )
